A Bugs Life
1st – 2nd Grade
4 Weeks: February 19, 26 March 5, 26 (No Class March 12 and 19)
This course gives students a look into the fascinating life of the mysterious bugs that are all around us in everyday life. Invertebrates make up about 99% of the organisms on Earth; it’s time to learn a little more about what makes them so special. We study their biology, anatomy, how they see, and how they impact the world around us. Students also create their own insect in the class and talk about their creation on the last day of class.
Outside Classwork: Assignments will vary; up to 30-minutes a week.
Instructor: Justin Johnson
