Embark on an adventure with one of our most beloved authors, Jules Verne, in his most celebrated book, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. We will travel into the depths of the ocean in Nemo’s futuristic vessel to investigate the wonders that lay below. Originally published in 1872, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is a must read if you want adventure and action. Students discuss the novel as the story unfolds, play vocabulary games, learn literary elements, as well as construct a creative project. Come explore this classic Jules Verne masterpiece and enjoy the adventure!
Outside Classwork: Students are assigned reading, comprehension building questions, and vocabulary weekly. In addition, there is a special creative project with this classic.
