Tuesdays 1:30-3:30
3 Weeks: January 14, 21, 28
Location: Jewish Community Center of Mission Viejo JCC
Tuition: $125
We will be exploring simple machines: wheel and axle, pulley, inclined plane, wedge, lever, screw and then will combine them together in a large Rube Goldberg machine (think the crazy game of Mouse Trap). First week, a tire rolls down a ramp knocking down a block which releases a pendulum which strikes a pedestal dropping another tire connected through a pulley to a teeter totter where gravity takes over to send our car into the garage. The next two weeks, what will the kids come up with to make the contraption even more crazy and complicated?
